Citidwell Ltd (company number 07243317) [Formerly Findon Property Management Ltd]is the commercial property management company also representing the freeholder and assisting in managing of the commercial and residential units within the development.
The worst company! Do not rent with them whether it’s commercial or for a place to stay.I rented a commercial space and they lured me in with a 1 month free rent and I also asked if I need to cancel before the contract ends can I do this because otherwise I would never rent a place where I am stuck! And they said yes. When I was no longer able to pay due to my partner losing his job as he was my provider financially they completely ignored me and said I still need to make the payments. I have sent several emails complaining and directly contacted the agent dealing with me and she has ignored me completely. I am very unhappy and I believe that this company is a big scam! I should’ve read their reviews before even thinking about it. Terrible terrible terrible!
Having dealt with this incompetent organisation for 1.5 years, I have encountered unprofessional behaviour throughout, refusal to take responsibility for poor work and their disorganisation. They’ve consistently rengeged on agreements, fail to resolve issues in any adquate matter, hire unqualified and related parties to carry out works, and highly unresponsive. While their work is sub-standard at best and is live-able, their clearly over-leveraged development model has caused them to take numerous shortcuts in quality. No one in the organisation can take responsibility and their strategy is to tire you out with their incompetence and reticence as to force you to accept their shoddy works and behaviour.
This is a very good letting agent. They helped me when I was about to be homeless. In particular I would like to thank my friend Daniel. He helped me to get a nice spacious apartment.
Giving 0 stars would be a better review for this awful company. Booked a viewing for a property and was sent an email confirmation with no one’s contact number. Drove an hour to the viewing and couldn’t get hold of anyone. My calls from the main line and emails were being ignored then when I finally got hold of someone they told me they sent me an email to cancel in the morning. I received NO email. The viewing was at 11:30am. I ended up waiting for half an hour. Luckily I was with my partner who drove me otherwise would have been stranded. Awful company.
I was very happy with my experience with citidwell. I rented a flat in Parkhaus, the service was great and amazing communication. Special thanks to Tatyana, she was very helpful and easy to work with
The good reviews for this company must be fake.In the 14 months that I have lived in a development managed by Citidwell, we have had 4 different building managers as they are clearly such a poor company, everyone resigns. We (and many other residents) are living without any of our snagging completed, including serious issues like doors and windows that do not close properly and heating that does not work. Emails are ignored constantly, and I am looking into taking legal action against them as well as reporting them to the Consumer Code for New Homes. I would honestly tell people to avoid moving to or buying any property that is managed by them.EDIT 1After my front door lock failed locking me out of my flat, and Citidwell did not answer their OOO number (I rang 22 times!), I was forced to pay £1500 for an emergency locksmith and new lock system. Citidwell refused to reimburse me saying the lock was out of the liability period, which they consider 3 months after purchasing a flat, despite most other new builds having a 2 year liability period.EDIT 2After going through the Consumer Code for New Homes and the Centre for Effective Dispute, I won my case against Citidwell, which resulted in them reimbursing £1500 and sorting my snagging nearly 2 years after moving in.We are leaseholders in a building managed by Citidwell, so we have slightly less day-to-day with them, but I am so glad we are not renters/tenants. All our renting neighbours have had to leave because 1) Citidwell do not resolve any problems, renters have been left without hot water/heating for weeks and even months at a time, and 2) Citidwell increase the rent each year by literally hundreds of pounds, forcing people to leave, but then they charge lower rents to new tenants. Why would you want to lose good tenants and risk renting to new people who could be bad tenants?
The most incompetent managing agent I have ever came across – staff keeps changing , an issue raised over 4 months ago still not solved – late and court fee applied to not paying for an insecure parking – total shambles
An ‘agency’ that is ultimately operating both illegally and fraudulently in nature. I am in the process of commencing legal action against them and obtaining details of all of the landlords they represent to make them aware of their operational misgivings.
Kebba was without a doubt the most helpful, caring, and committed person I interacted with at Citidwell. He went above and beyond to help me ensure I was able to move in and get my rental contract signed. I have worked with very few people who have the kind of excellent client management skills as him. Had it not been for Kebba, my roommates and I, and all of our possessions would have been left outside. Citidwell was incredibly difficult to work with – Kebba was the exception and was incredible. Thank you so much Kebba!
An incompetent company that has ignored all their duties for an entire year since the purchase of our property. They will not solve the issues, will not fix snags, will not come out when your ceilings are leaking in a brand new home, will not answer the phone, will not respond to any email, and will not do the one job their business is built for: property management. Their level of professionalism displayed is disappointingly inadequate. While there are undoubtedly challenges in property management, the onus is on the company to bridge the gap between expectation and delivery. Regrettably, I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.
Awful experience. Replied instantly when viewing and arranging our rental. Once we moved in, we’ve had nothing but issues and our emails completely ignored for months. Don’t use Citidwell. Will remove this review once issues resolved.
My very own experience with citidwell is pleasant especially Kebba Saidy .He assisted every steps of the way during our process, our family is happy with good result. We owe this awesome guy big time.Thank you very much KebbaGuen Ramil and Asher
We were in a short notice by my current landlord , and id tried all types of lettings. Then comes along Kebba Saidy calls me and set a viewing. Realised after 10 days i have the key and my tenancy agreement. This is how swiftly organised this man is , this guy is amazing.
Avoid @ all cost. One of their irresponsible managers Kebba Saidy Never answers the phone, always driving with child crying in the background, so unprofessional, gives a quick miss call at the last minute after arranging a viewing and then never answers when called back. Sending series of stupid messages asking far too many questions without showing you any units to let. Cancelling a viewing at the last minute. Don’t waste your time with these people. It would most likely take the end of this century for citidwell to reach a two star rating if this is the type of individuals to take as managers. Some people are simply not fit to be called manager let alone run a business and this guy is just one of them. Good luck Citidwell!
Absolutely avoid them! Not responding to emails, phone calls, messages. They left our snagging unfinished and now aren’t answering on phone, emails etc. I calling the office constantly and no one has answered and that rare times they answered the person I was looking for was always out of office, busy, on a meeting, not in his/her desk, holiday. Avoid them or they will make your life a nightmare! It’s a fraud.
This company is a massive scam do not use them ever. We bought a property with them and have had nothing but problems ever since. They will completely ignore you as soon as you sign the lease.
All tenants should avoid this company at all costs. I dealt with Citidwell over the course of 10 days in relation to a property I wished to rent. They were polite and responsive to begin with. After accepting our offer and telling us we could proceed with the paperwork, they announced another offer had been received for the property and tried to recall their email accepting our offer. We felt compelled to increase our offer to ensure we didn’t lose the property. Our increased offer was accepted (again). After carrying out some research (companies house searches, land registry searches) we felt uneasy about whether Citidwell was a genuine property management company and whether the proposed landlord entity even owned the property it was intending to lease to us. We were genuinely concerned this was a scam. We politely asked a couple of questions to allay our fears prior to signing the paperwork. We received no responses to these questions. Instead, within the space of an hour, Citidwell responds to tell us that the landlord has revoked their acceptance of our offer (for a second time) and expects us to suddenly increase our offer by 11%. This was a blatant attempt to get us to stop asking questions. In summary, do not waste your time enquiring about any properties advertised by Citidwell.
They pressure you into increasing your offer by telling you that the property is in high demand so you end up offering over the odds. I made an offer and then went to view the property (with a different agent because Citi Dwell are all too busy to actually show you a property but will happily accept an offer). On the viewing, the property didn’t even have any windows that opened! Also good luck trying to get anyone to answer your emails and calls, I called twice a day everyday because nobody would respond unless they were pressuring you for more money.
